Alyssa was trained in the classical style at Studio Art School (Lismore) and Julian Ashton Art School (Sydney), as well as trained and worked as conservator of easel paintings.

Her passion is for the figure and portraiture - as it is a constantly challenging and fascinating subject. She is inspired endlessly by the techniques of the Old Masters as well as the colour, realism and fervor of the Pre-Raphaelites.
