Our past members

Having been around since 1967, many people who were once members no longer are.  Some moved away from the Northern Beaches, some became too old to continue, and many moved on to other interests.  Here's a quick summary of what some of our past members made, with a link to their old web pages.

Alanna Hardman   Alanna paints in acrylic on canvas. She paints distinctive landscapes, flowers, portraits and still life.

Allen Goodman   Allen is a mixed media artist who is especially inspired by his images of the Pittwater area including beaches, waterways, boating and outdoor activities

Barbara McBurnie   The late Barbara's subjects included beaches, landscapes, native plants, birds, boating, abstracts and in later years oil paintings of the Outback. She painted in oils, acrylic and watercolour.

Brian Hutchings   Brian painted wildlife, landcsapes, seascapes and marine subjects in acrylics

Jane Gregory   Jane makes a range of hand made candles that are set into vintage objects, such as old China & Glass. Many of her fragrances are her own blends

Joan   Joan's craft is hand-painted silk. She makes her silk printed fabrics into a range of clothing, including scarves, kaftans, shawls and hats. Her hats are both stylish and practical.

Linda Joyce   Linda's works are of life in the Australian bush and outback- the landscape, people, birds & animals, and ordinary objects used in everyday life

Michelle Holmes   Michelle paints with Oils, Acrylics, Watercolours, enjoys Mixed Media and also loves Mosaic.

Michelle Holmes   At our exhibitions, as well as her mosaic work, Michelle displays her needlework. This is currently a series of distinctive cats, in a range of bright colours.

Pauline Rose   Pauline has been making paper tole for 20 years, including animals, fish, flowers, and beautiful scenes, which she frames herself. She also knits character dolls, including the nurse, large clown dolls and the drummer boy.

Robyn Park   The late Robyn's crafts were encaustic wax painting, dichroic fused glass jewellery, polymer clay jewellery, modern jewellery using semi precious stones, feathers, shells, and vibrant colours of silk scarves, beads, lamp shades and pictures.

Vanessa Arnold   Vanessa makes silk screen prints, figurative drawings using conte crayons, landscapes in oils, and explores the diversity of acrylics in her art

Vivien Prince   Vivien concentrates on designing and making quilts and other textile art, such as cushions and carry bags
