Vanessa studied at the National Art School of Sydney in the late 1970's, and obtained a Diploma in Fine Arts in 1979.

In 1995 she re-entered the art world making silk screen prints, figurative drawings using conte crayons, landscapes in oils, and later exploring the diversity of acrylics in her art.

Vanessa is inspired by circular and curved images, and creates these in her art using curved lines to highlight her admiration for nature, animals and nudes.
